X-Ray Beacons

Oenoke Engineering offers a variety of fully customizable beacons/stack lights to meet the diverse needs of x-ray warning devices. Each beacon can be configured to meet your application needs:

Sizes

30mm, 50mm, and 70mm diameter beacons are standard. The 30mm beacons are typically used for close range, operator indication. The 50mm beacons are typically used for general indication. The 70mm beacons are typically used for broad, long range indication on the top of x-ray cabinets.

Elements

Each beacon can be configured with up to six individually colored elements or five colored elements and an audible siren/alarm. Each element can be individually programed, via DIP switches, for solid/constant, flashing, or strobing illuminations. The audible siren can be programed, via DIP switches, for volume control and tone control. Furthermore, a single element can be multicolored for a compact beacon.

Each beacon can be configured for either 24VDC or 110-220VAC operation meeting the needs of virtually every x-ray system in the field.

All color elements are made with LED bulbs that are rated for a lifetime of 50,000 hours and draw a maximum of 100mA. The elements are gray in color when OFF and illuminate the proper color when ON making it far easier to tell if the beacon is on or off and reducing false indications from nearby lights or the sun.

Mounting Options

By default, beacons come with a right-angle magnetic mount. For permanent mounting, a right-angle or straight mounting bracket with mounting screws is available.

Labeling

Each element can be labeled with the ISO W003 radiation symbol, PREWARNING, SYSTEM POWER, X-RAYS ON WHEN LIT, or any custom label.
